viral pathogens AND human coronavirus claims for use against SARS?CoV?2 as of 3?3?2020,
published 3?16?2020 update.
How does EPA know that this product works on SARS-CoV-2? While this product
has not been tested against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19, it is expected to be effective based
on:
- Demonstrated efficacy against a harder-to-kill virus;
- Qualified for the emerging viral pathogens claim; or
- Demonstrated efficacy against another human coronavirus similar to SARS-CoV-2.
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID?19) is caused by SARS?CoV?2. Coil-Cure, Evaporator Coil
Cleaner and Disinfectant, EPA Reg. No. 44446?23-51219, kills similar viruses and therefore can be
used against SARS?CoV?2 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Canine
Parvovirus on hard, non?porous surfaces.
